Return and Refund Policy
OVERVIEW
This Return and Refund Policy explains how Ranger Letrics handles returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged items, incorrect items, and faulty products.
We offer a 7-day change-of-mind return window, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
SECTION 1 - CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Ranger Letrics may accept change-of-mind returns where the return request is made within 7 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be:
unused;
unopened;
in the same condition that you received it;
in its original packaging;
complete with all included accessories, parts, instructions, tags, seals, and packaging; and
accompanied by proof of purchase.
Items must not be installed, programmed, paired, modified, damaged, marked, or used in any way.
SECTION 2 - REMOTE START KEY RETURNS
Due to the programmable nature of remote start keys, Ranger Letrics does not accept change-of-mind returns for remote start keys once the security seal has been broken.
Remote start keys are only eligible for a change-of-mind return if:
the security seal is intact and has not been broken;
the key has not been programmed, paired, used, copied, opened, damaged, or altered;
the key is returned in its original packaging; and
the item is in resaleable condition.
Once the seal is broken, the item may no longer be suitable for resale, as it may have been programmed, paired, handled, or otherwise affected.
SECTION 3 - RETURN APPROVAL REQUIRED
To start a return, please contact Ranger Letrics before sending the item back.
Items sent back without first requesting and receiving return approval will not be accepted.

Please include your order number, name, contact details, and the reason for the return.
SECTION 4 - RESTOCKING FEE
Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
This fee helps cover handling, inspection, payment processing, and return administration costs.
The restocking fee does not apply to returns where the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged in transit, or not as described.
SECTION 5 - RETURN POSTAGE FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
For approved change-of-mind returns, return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing by Ranger Letrics.
The original shipping cost, if paid, may not be refundable for change-of-mind returns.
Ranger Letrics is not responsible for return parcels lost or damaged in transit. We recommend using a tracked shipping method when returning an item.
SECTION 6 - FAULTY, INCORRECT OR NOT-AS-DESCRIBED ITEMS
If your item is faulty, incorrect, damaged in transit, or not as described, please contact Ranger Letrics as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and make it right.
Where a return is approved due to a fault, incorrect item, damage in transit, or the product not matching the description:
no restocking fee will apply;
return postage will not be charged to the customer;
Ranger Letrics will cover the reasonable cost of return postage; and
a full refund, replacement, repair, or other suitable remedy will be provided depending on the issue.
Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or videos where relevant.
SECTION 7 - DAMAGED ITEMS
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and the damaged item.
This allows us to assess the issue and assist with a suitable resolution.
SECTION 8 - ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Unless required by law, we do not accept change-of-mind returns for:
items where the security seal has been broken;
remote start keys that have been opened, programmed, paired, used, copied, or altered;
items that have been installed or fitted;
items that are damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or improper handling;
sale, clearance, or final-sale items;
gift cards; or
items returned outside the 7-day return window.
This does not apply where the item is faulty, incorrect, damaged in transit, or not as described.
SECTION 9 - EXCHANGES
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original item, where eligible and approved, and place a separate order for the replacement item.
Any exchange is subject to stock availability and return approval.
SECTION 10 - REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method.
Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us.
SECTION 11 - AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
This policy does not limit, exclude, or replace any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
If a product has a major fault, is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for purpose, or does not match the description, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy as required by law.
